Company Background

In 2003, Mark William and Adam Galley created the concept for Global Cost Solutions (GCS) after seeing trends in the medical community that demonstrated a need for a healthcare-based consulting firm. GCS is skilled in vendor negotiation techniques designed to benefit physicians and healthcare facilities.

In the process of analyzing various economic trends, GCS realized the negative impact on the healthcare industry. These trends include decreasing reimbursement from Medicare, Medicaid, and Primary Insurers. In addition to these cuts the Deficit Reduction Act of 2005 placed continued financial pressures on physicians and their medical practices. This has resulted in time constraints on physicians to constantly monitor the increasing costs of their medical and office supply products. GCS began instituting strategies to assist physicians and healthcare facilities in maintaining a high standard of care for their patients.

Mark William graduated from Miami University obtaining a degree in Economics.  Upon graduating Mr. William moved back to Mansfield, OH and co-founded Global Cost Solutions, Inc. for the purpose of continuing his passion for the medical field.

Adam Galley (co-founder) graduated from Miami University obtaining a degree in Political Science. His time spent working on Capitol Hill and in congressional politics directly contributed to his knowledge of the American healthcare system. During this time, he worked with physicians on understanding the intricacies of Medicare and Medicaid related issues.
